Tell us about your hometown, family and hobbies. 

My hometown is Thorhild AB. My mom is Marcie and my dad is Jon. I have two older brothers (Ethan, Aidan) and a younger sister (Livia). When I’m not playing hockey I love hunting, fishing, sledding, dirt biking, welding, and farming.

How did you originally begin playing hockey (what age as well) and what is your favourite memory from when you were younger? 

I started playing hockey when I was 3 years old. One of my favorite hockey memories was winning gold at the Alberta Winter Games. 

Who is your favourite NHL player and who do you model your game after? Why? 

My favorite player is Cale Makar because he is a great two way defenseman. I model my game after him because he is strong in his own end but can be a huge factor in the offensive zone setting up and scoring goals. 

What team do/did you play for? What was your favorite part from the season?

I played for the Ft. Sask U15AAA Rangers. Being able to host provincials and getting to play in some big games during provincials against some great players was my favorite part of the season. 

What are your top goals as a student athlete? Why are they your top goals? 

My top goals as a student athlete would be to always do my best and develop as a hockey player as well My goal as an athlete is to get drafted to the WHL and eventually play professional hockey. Playing at the highest level possible has always been my top priority. 

What separates you as a player or person? How do you continue to get better? 

The thing that separates me is my work ethic, drive to get better, and coachability. I continue to get better by listening to feedback from coaches and using it to improve my skills. 

What impact are you looking to have in your sports careers (community, team, success, etc.) 

Being a leader on the teams I play on has always been one of my top priorities. I hope that one day I can inspire other kids to pick up this sport and love it as much as I do.

I live on a farm and enjoy doing anything outdoors.
