Tell us about your hometown, family and hobbies.
I grew up in Beaumont Alberta . My family is from the east coast of Canada, on the Newfoundland and Labrador border. A small fishing village. My hobbies are fishing and camping.
How did you originally begin playing hockey (what age as well) and what is your favorite memory from when you were younger?
I loved watching hockey since I was little. Specifically the goalies. So I naturally worked to play. I started playing hockey at age 5 and played goalie since age 7. My favorite memory when I was younger was winning Provincials in Atom.
Who is your favorite NHL player and who do you model your game after? Why?
My favorite NHL player is Marc Andre Fleury. I model my game after Fleury and Price. I am calm and in good position like Price and very athletic like Fleury.
What team did you play for? What was your favorite part from the season?
Last season I played for the Camrose Kodiaks in the AJHL. My favorite part of this season was hanging out with the boys due to a short season with COVID.
What are your top goals as a student athlete? Why are they your top goals?
My top goal as a student athlete would be to get a degree. Being able to play hockey and get an education would be amazing.
How important is school from your perspective? Why is it that way?
School is very important to me because it’s where the doors to my future will open.
What would it mean to you to play at the NCAA or Pro level?
Playing at the NCAA or Pro Level would be surreal and has been a dream of mine.
What separates you as a player or person? How do you continue to get better?
What separates me as a player or person is that I am very calm and I never give up no matter what the situation. I get better by learning from my mistakes and working hard.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I am looking to have an impact on younger and older kids as a goalie coach, so I can give my knowledge back. I’d also like to win as many championships as I can.

One fun fact is that I have Won 2 World Championships for Team Canada playing ball hockey!
