Tell us about your hometown, family, and hobbies:
My home town is St.Paul we have the first UFO landing pad. I have two brothers. They are twins Ashton and Jeremy. My mom’s name is Stephanie and my dad’s name is Shane. My hobbies are mostly golfing, skating and reading.
How did you originally begin playing hockey (what age as well) and what is your favorite memory from when you were younger?
I started playing when I was 5 in beginner novice. My favorite memory from when I was younger is winning provincials in atom.Who is your favorite NHL player and who do you model your game after? Why?
My favorite NHL player is Tyler Toffoli and I also try to model my game off him. I like how he plays off the puck and is always ready for the pass.What team do/did you play for? What was your favorite part from the season?
I played for the Lakeland Panthers this past year. My favorite part from this year was seeing all my old friends who I haven’t seen in a couple years.What are your top goals as a student athlete? Why are they your top goals?
My top goal as a student athlete is to get a scholarship to help pay for my university or college. This is my top goal because it would be a big help financially and I would be able to keep playing hockey.How important is school from your perspective? Why are they your top goals?
School is very important in my eyes because it is good to have options outside of sports. Not everyone is going to become a professional athlete so it is good to have knowledge from school to advance your career outside of sports.What would it mean to you to play at the NCAA or Pro Level?
Playing NCAA or pro level hockey would be a lifelong dream come true.What separates you as a player or person? How do you continue to get better?
I am a very heads up player always looking to set up a teammate. I am defensively sound and a hard worker who won’t give up on the puck. I continue to get better by pushing myself on and off the ice as well as in the classroom.What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I am looking to be able to help my community and family with the success in my career.One fun fact about yourself?
I have a dog named Rex, who is a golden retriever.
