Tell us about your hometown, family, and hobbies.
My hometown is St. Albert, a relatively small but competitive hockey city. Almost all of my hobbies are sports-related, spending most of my time away from the rink either on the golf course or on my driveway shooting pucks or playing basketball.
How did you originally begin playing hockey (what age as well) and what is your favorite memory from when you were younger?
I first started playing hockey when I was 6 years old. My favorite memory of playing hockey when I was younger would be winning Minor Hockey Week in Atom.
Who is your favorite NHL player and who do you model your game after? Why?
My favorite NHL player is Mathew Barzal and I model my game after Barzal and Marner.
What team do/did you play for? What was your favorite part of the season?
This last season I played for the Fort Sask U18 AAA Rangers. My favorite part from this last season was the 4 games that we got to play due to COVID.
What are your top goals as a student-athlete? Why are they your top goals?
My top goal as a student-athlete is to play at the NCAA level. This is because I would get the opportunity to play at one of the highest levels of hockey while pursuing an education.
How important is the school from your perspective? Why is it that way?
I believe that school is incredibly important. Having the ability to do well in school is important at the NCAA level and being educated is important in becoming a well-rounded individual.
What would it mean to you to play at the NCAA or Pro level?
Playing at the NCAA or Pro level would be a realization of multiple long-term goals in my life and the gratification of seeing all my hard work pay off would be very satisfying.
What separates you as a player or person? How do you continue to get better?
Some separating factors for me as a player would be my speed and explosiveness, quick hands in tight, a strong Hockey IQ, and a deceptively quick-release shot. Off the ice, I get good grades in school which helps contribute as a separating factor. I continue to improve and get better with my discipline and competitive mentality, approaching every day and every development opportunity as a chance to get better and gain an edge on my competition.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I am looking to play at the highest level of hockey I possibly can while getting an education and achieving team success along the way.

I broke the 3000m record for a track day at my junior high school.
